Why Join Our Community?
Community Studio Access
Enjoy studio access seven (7) days a week (excluding holidays). Each tenant has a designated professional space with everything you need in house, including:
- A dedicated community glaze and work area (including access to our glaze kitchen)
- Clay sinks, wedging tables, slab roller, spray booth
- A full kiln room with cone 6 electric, cone 10 gas reduction, raku, and atmospheric firing options (special training required)
- On-site pottery supply shop with clay, tools, glazes, and more
Your studio is your own to set up with your tools/equipment, arrange your workflow, and develop your practice.
Health and Safety:
We are proud to be a barium- and manganese-free studio. These materials are known to pose significant health risks, so no clays or glazes containing them are permitted. By maintaining a non-toxic studio environment, we protect the health and well-being of every artist and create a space where creativity can flourish safely.
Build Your Professional Presence
Tenants become part of a respected ceramics institution known across Western North Carolina and beyond. You’ll gain:

- A place to bring customers, collectors, and potential buyers
- Visibility within a nationally recognized ceramics center
Artists seeking additional exposure may also apply to display their work in our curated Fine Ceramic Arts Gallery, visited year-round by collectors, students, and art enthusiasts.
