Time: Noon-2 pm EST
Making pots that pour is more complicated than one thinks. These pots require balance, proportion and functionality. In this class we will explore traditional pouring vessels and contemporary. We will make pitchers exploring different forms, spouts, handles and rims treatments. We have a different technique focus each week with intentional assignments.
(This six week class will not include Teapots per say, as I will be offering a class soon that is focused entirely on teapots)
Each week we will experience many unique and traditional forms in a slide presentation and then explore them at wheel making our own aesthetic decisions. We also have an open mic Q&A and opportunity to share what you made that week at the end to each teaching session. I have focused on pouring vessels for over thirty years and still remain completely enamored with them.
**I have staff that operate our 2 cameras for front and overhead perspectives while Im demonstrating. The lighting and sound is excellent too! Join me as we explore Pots that Pour!
**The class is recorded and sent to you no later than the next day after class.
***As a bonus to aid you each week I include additional helpful demonstration videos!
Non refundable: You will have all the class video recordings for 90 days after the last class.
