Hands On: “Design and Execute“ with Sarah Wells Rolland June 8-19th 9-4 pm
This workshop is designed specifically for students who would like to discover a unique body of work. Students will stretch the clay and create forms that make our souls sing! You can move clay where ever you want it, up, down, out or in. Now it is time to design and execute your unique style with refinement and excellence, words you will hear a lot. Daily critiques and exploring the “what if’s” together stimulate even more exciting pots. We will sketch the clay to its limit, making sets, some big pots and multiple approaches to spouts for pouring Vessels and incorporating slabs into thrown pieces. It wont be easy but it sure will be fun! Register now!
Intermediate-Advanced Potters. What does that mean? Can you move 4 lbs of clay? Then you’re ready. Questions: Give us a call, ask for Sarah!

Sarah knows how to teach better than anyone about how to make you a better potter. Her beautiful work has a voice of experience while also conveying excitement for her students. Besides Sarah’s classes being tons of fun & instructional, she has taught me through critiques how to be a better potter. Seeing pottery through her eyes has given me a more practiced eye on designing and working on my own pottery. Duffy Baum
