In this season of my career I spend much of my time teaching and mentoring emerging ceramic artists. However my personal time in my studio is where I have full creative freedom and a place to find my center. Working at the wheel, feeling the clay move, watching the shape take form continues to be a big part of my life. I am drawn to forms that are simple, graceful and fluid. You can see when looking at my work that the motion of the wheel and the hand of the potter are not lost in the finished piece. I purpose to celebrate all the elements of the process, form, surface, texture and color. I am deeply grateful to you my customer who encourages me, supports me and keeps me in my studio by purchasing and living with my pots! Thank you!
