The Village Potters Clay Center is a proud distributor of Laguna Clay Company clays and other supplies. We carry a variety of wet clays in-house, and can special order most items offered in the Laguna Clay Catalog including wet and dry clays (including CA clays), raw materials, tools, kilns, equipment, glazes & more.

Laguna Clays have excellent throwing qualities, a consistent moisture content, large firing ranges, and they offer a clean (no rocks) clay with variable particle sizes.

We keep a wide variety of mid-range and high-fire Laguna Clays in stock for same-day purchase and pick-up (see PDF information sheets below).

Please visit our gallery or call us at 828-253-2424 between 10 AM – 5 PM daily for updated in-stock clay quantities and availability.

In-stock clay orders under 500 lbs can be purchased and picked up in our gallery on the following days/times:

Mondays:           10 am to 5 pm
Tuesdays:            2 pm to 5 pm*
Wednesdays:    10 am to 5 pm
Thursdays:          2 pm to 5 pm*
Fridays:              10 am to 5 pm
Saturdays:         10 am to 5 pm
Sundays:           by appointment only*

*Please call to schedule an appointment if clay/order pick up is needed on Tuesdays or Thursdays before 2pm, or any time Sundays. Thank you!

Special Orders: Clay, Materials, Glazes, Kilns, and more

 As a Laguna clay distributor, we can special order most items in the Laguna catalog including glazes, raw materials, kilns, kiln furniture, and clay that is not currently kept in-stock or is needed in quantities of 500 lbs or more. To place a special order, please call (828) 253-2424 or email keira @thevillagepotters.com.

Orders can take 2-9 weeks to arrive to our facility depending on material availability. 

*Please note that due to colder conditions, clay deliveries may take longer during winter months. For this reason, we are unable to order California clays from approximately late fall to early spring.
