We are thrilled to share that our Clay Company has secured a new temporary location to continue providing Laguna and Standard clays and raw materials to our community.

Despite the devastating losses The Village Potters Clay Center (TVPCC) experienced during the recent flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, we have been dedicated to supplying clay since the waters receded. Our commitment to supporting our community and meeting your clay needs remains stronger than ever.

Guidelines For Ordering Clay

Due to current circumstances, below are some guidelines for ordering clay:

ORDERS IN 50LB INCREMENTS: At this time, we ask that all orders be placed in 50 lbs increments (i.e., a full box of clay). Due to our current circumstances, including operating out of a temporary location, we are unable to break up boxes of clay into smaller quantities. This limitation allows us to manage inventory efficiently and streamline the distribution process during this challenging period.

PREPAYMENT REQUIRED: All clay orders must be prepaid as we do not have systems in place to receive payment at the temporary warehouse. Once we receive your payment, you can pick up your order during our scheduled pick up days/times (see below). All clay sales are final.

YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED: We kindly ask for your understanding and patience as we navigate this ordering and pick-up process. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and volunteers who are helping us reestablish our clay company.

Pricing and Quantity Discounts

Pricing varies depending on the clay body and the quantity ordered. Quantity discounts fall within the ranges below. Discounts are applied based on the total weight of your order.

Special Order Clays | Raw Materials | Glazes

The Village Potters Clay Center is pleased to offer special orders for additional Laguna clays, raw materials, and glazes beyond the clays currently in stock (see catalogs below). However, please note that we are currently limited to Laguna’s Ohio Clay Stock, and delivery times may range from 2 to 8 weeks.

Regardless of whether you select our in-stock clays or wish to special order clay and/or raw materials,

We will then provide you with a price for your order and send an invoice that can be paid online (credit card only please). 

PICK UP LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

Once we have received your payment, you will be able to pick up your clay at the following address:

We will notify you to let you know when you clay is ready to be picked up at the warehouse.

We have volunteers available for two pick-up windows each week:

  • Tuesdays 11 am – 1 pm
  • Thursday 11 am – 1 pm

* holidays and weather may impact these hours. You will receive confirmation of your pick up date once your clay order has been placed.

If you just cannot pick up in this timeline, we may be able schedule to meet you at the warehouse. However, please make every effort to pick up during these times.
