Shapes of Summer Pottery Pop-Up

Join us for this summer’s hottest art show – Shapes of Summer Pottery Pop-Up at The Village Potters Clay Center!

This exhibition and sale will feature the work of 13 of our Independent Study and Mentoring (ISM) artists, each with a unique style and approach to ceramic art. Highlights include gorgeously glazed functional pieces like mugs, platters, and bowls, as well as artistic display pieces like vases, carved boxes, and bas relief panels. The public is invited to peruse the art, chat with the artists, and purchase artwork directly from the artists themselves.

Shapes of Summer will take place in the back courtyard of The Village Potters Clay Center (TVPCC), in the heart of Asheville’s River Arts District. Located at Riverview Station, 191 Lyman Street #180, TVPCC is an anchor for Western North Carolina’s pottery community. Home to seven resident potters, beloved public classroom and workshop studios, a clay warehouse, and the Advanced Studies Independent Study and Mentoring (ISM) program, TVP has nurtured clay artists from beginners to professionals for over a decade.
