Sarah Wells Rolland is well known for her unique and recognizable body of work. She uses exciting and easily implemented techniques to create large, beautiful pots with intriguing surfaces. This one day intensive demonstration workshop is designed for potters of all levels. This workshop will inspire the beginner, and equip the intermediate and advanced potters with new techniques and approaches to moving large amounts of clay. You will learn techniques to push your work into new territory.
“You can make pots as big as your kiln can accommodate, so why not do it?” Sarah says. Learn multiple approaches to throwing big and several ways to approach glazing them.
